Fly Like a G6: Gulfstream's G650

With 25 weeks on Billboard’s hot 100 chart and  a short stint as the #1 song in the USA, Far East Movement’s ‘Like A G6′ has been lighting up the airwaves for quite a few months. In 2012, those airwaves are set to be disrupted by something else entirely: Gulfstream’s G650, the company’s latest addition to the top of the line private jet business. Not only is it fly like a G-6, it actually IS one.

Fly non stop for 12,964 km.. That’s from Dubai to New York with 925KM per hour. With all the luxury and the sofisticated technology this plane will make Paris Hilton jealous. With the price of $65 million Gulfstream 650 won’t be ready until 2012. Or, if you live in Europe, $101 million.

The cockpit has a four large 14-inch displays, an LCD HUD II which provides with the enhanced vision you see above and the SV-PFD. The control of the multifunction displays is quite nice, with an analog pad built onto the pilot’s joystick itself.

In the media

From Hip-hop artist, movie stars to corporate pricks want to have this plane. It’s so hot they even recorded a song about it.. Keep on dreaming boys!
