Footage of the Fukushima Reactors

After many workers were exposed to excessive radiation at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant, the division of Japan’s Self-Defense Forces asked for assistance from the U.S. military contractor. Four robots made by the company iRobot (know for their vacuum cleaners) were shipped to Japan. The robots can be operated from over 2,000 feet away and could be used in tasks like hauling hoses to help fight fires and measuring radiation levels.

We found the footage of a robotic vehicle hovering at the crippled Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant. After seeing the videos I have to admit I’m glad to be human.
