Hunting a shark with a piece of rope

I just stumbled across this great video! This is the preview of the BBC documentary “Arctic with Bruce Parry”. You can see how two Uummannaq Eskimos, Amos and his son Karl-Frederik, catch the largest Greenland Shark they’ve ever landed and pull it up 800 metres through a hole in the ice before feeding it to their hungry dogs.
